The International Engineering Consortium (IEC) is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization established in 1944 with a mission to catalyze growth and development in new technologies and research within industry and academia. The IEC serves its mission by providing quality continuing education, research, publications, and service programs for industry and academia.

The IEC Nanotechnology Initiative targets practicing engineers and technologists, managers and executives, who together guide future business and technology strategies.
