Providing QoS/SLAs in IP Networks
This session will explore strategies and technologies for maximizing these two factors for IP networks. On the service side, providers can undertake strategies such as sophisticated bandwidth provisioning or launching new IP services that differentiate and lock in customers. On the service-level-agreement side, the critical question is establishing high-availability networks, and bandwidth-management technologies that allow selling a range of service-level agreements for differentiated prices. We will explore:
- New end-user services on IP networks for increased revenue
- Techniques for provisioning bandwidth
- Methods for establishing high-availability networks
- Capturing real-time billing information to ensure that service-level agreements can be easily established and managed
