Luncheon Keynote Address

Dr. C. Zachary Gilstein
Vice President, General Manager, OSS Business Operations, Telcordia Technologies

Dr. C. Zachary Gilstein is the vice president and general manager of OSS Business Operations and deputy to the group president of the Operations Support Systems Strategic Business Unit at Telcordia Technologies. In this capacity, Dr. Gilstein is responsible for management of an integrated portfolio of OSS offerings, including investment strategy, business partnering, and channel development for the OSS Strategic Business Unit. He is currently focused on developing Telcordia's offerings for managed IP, dynamic optical networking, mobility, and international solutions. Prior to this position, Dr. Gilstein was acting group president of the OSS Strategic Business Unit, where he was responsible for the evolution and development of systems used to automate the customer-service, service-activation, workforce-management, service-assurance and performance, and network-design processes in major telecommunications service providers, as well as for defining the evolution of those systems to manage next-generation networks. He has also held management positions in data communications and a wide variety of operations systems product and systems engineering departments.
