Service Assurance: Enabling On-Demand IP Services

With basic services approaching commodity pricing, service providers need to specify provisioning assurance levels and then rapidly and economically deliver advanced services to succeed in today's competitive business climate. This session will focus on describing the emerging technologies that enable rapid-provisioning, the need for quick activation and billing of emerging Internet protocol (IP)-based services, such as virtual private networks (VPNs) and voice over IP (VoIP), and the need for on-demand services and/or requirements for setting assurance levels.

  • Matching Processes and Information to Services
  • OSS Strategy to Build/Maintain IP Market Leadership
  • Scalable, Real-Time Information from Multiple Sources
