Engineering Wireless Networks for Cost and Quality

Advances in technology have increased opportunities for cost saving through infrastructure sharing and have brought new approaches to increasing network capacity. Service providers cannot sacrifice quality of service (QoS) as they pursue these benefits. Wireless network engineers must consider the issues of QoS measurement and management in the context of these new approaches.

  • Collocation and Infrastructure Sharing
  • New Approaches to Increasing Capacity
  • Designing Networks for Low Cost and High QoS
  • Defining Customer QoS for Wireless Networks
