Message from the Broadband DSL World Forum 2002 Chairperson
As broadband penetration and services continue to advance in the European marketplace, several challenges face service providers of all varieties: How can broadband service be delivered efficiently and cost-effectively? What high-bandwidth services are residential and enterprise customers most likely to purchase? How can return on infrastructure investment be maximized? What are the key market opportunities for carriers at present and in the future?
As chairman of the Broadband DSL World Forum 2002, I am pleased to invite you and your colleagues to join us in Berlin as we examine these and other pressing issues for the global broadband industry. As you can see from the rich offering of seminar sessions, plenary panels, and keynote addresses, this promises to be one of the most important events to date for the worldwide broadband industry.
I wish to thank the members of the Program Development Group, the session chairpersons, and all of the speakers and exhibiting companies for helping to make this year's World Forum the most important venue for broadband DSL education in 2002. It is my pleasure to be chairing this year's event, and I look forward to seeing you in Berlin!
Sincerely,
Gerd Tenzer, Deputy Chairman, Deutsche Telekom AG
