Case Study: Integrating Voice, Data, and Video FTTH

Small-scale deployments of FTTH are underway, and this session will feature a cross-section of speakers discussing the lessons learned from their involvement in trial or deployment activity. The material will be presented from the perspective of incumbent local-exchange carriers with a view toward large-scale deployment of FTTH and voice, video, and data. Lessons learned from a trial FTTH deployment will be discussed, a summary of the current regulatory deployment will be presented, and an industry analyst will offer a perspective on what business conditions are required for large-scale FTTH deployments to become a reality. Wondering what opportunities lay ahead for multiservice offering from an FTTH platform? Come hear leading industry experts discuss their experience with FTTH deployments.
