Selecting/Integrating Best-of-Breed OSS for End-to-End Solutions

Best-of-breed operations solutions, relying on the "plug and play" technologies of systems integrators and the innovation of numerous independent software vendors, have long been the "holy grail" for service providers and operations managers. But the reality has never quite equaled the hype, as evidenced by practical experience and the increasing number of software vendors assembling broadly integrated solutions under their own roofs. This session will debate the pros and cons of these seemingly opposing approaches.
