PTC was formed in 1979 with a mission to facilitate the adoption of telecommunications and advanced information technologies in the Asia-Pacific. PTC enables the exchange of ideas and commerce that is critical to social and economic progress in the region. Also, PTC advances education and commerce around ICT, primarily through its annual conference. Scholars, government officials, policymakers, users, and executives from Asia, the Americas, and Europe have come together each year for the past 28 years to learn, share, and network together.
