Hong Kong – July 18, 2008 – The International Engineering Consortium Executive Vice President Roger Plummer yesterday announced the winners of the prestigious InfoVision Awards on the exhibition floor of the Broadband World Forum Asia 2008. The World Forum took place this week at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre with PCCW as the official host sponsor.
“As in the past, our judges — chosen from the Track Advisory Group — deliberated for quite some time on each of the entries,” commented Mr. Plummer. “We’d like to thank all of them as well as all participants of the InfoVision Awards program as these are the leaders that drive our businesses, education, entertainment, and overall quality of life forward!”

Products eligible for an InfoVision Award designation were commercially announced or in deployment within the Asia-Pacific region prior to the Broadband World Forum Asia 2008. Submissions were judged by thought leaders chosen from the Track Advisory Group, which developed the educational program of the Broadband World Forum Asia 2008.
The panel of judges is composed of industry experts from vendor companies, service providers, and industry associations.
